Once started, it's half done
Ok, now I'm rolling. Now to go back through my email archives (yes, I kept all those emails people sent me over the years) and start posting some other stories, other emails promised (like that one from the president of Alienware) and so on.

I bought four Alienware computers 6 months ago for my Internet cafe.
I will not go into the litany of woes, but suffice it to say that not once in those months have all 4 computers worked at the same time. Failed hard drives. Failed Power supplies. The list goes on. We have spent countless hours with tech non-support to the point we have them on our speed dial. Right now we are on the phone to them again. Several times I have asked for the president's name and they have refused to give it to me. I will never, ever, buy another computer from them
We bought an Alienware computer and it is the worst computer we have ever owned. My son wanted it for high powered games. Many games won't even play on it. We have sent the computer back to Alienware twice and they did virtually nothing. We paid extra for sound dampening and it is so loud it sounds like the fan is going bad. We paid extra for it to run cool. It runs so hot that it heats up the entire room. We paid extra for on site service and Alienware has never sent someone to our site even though we requested it on several occations. That is just outright fraud. We will be reporting them to all the agencies we can think of, both State and Federal. I hope they go out of business. 7/26/07
ALIENWARE IS THE MOST CROOKED COMPANY IN AMERICA. THEY DO NOT
POOR DELL - THEY ALREADY MAKE ENOUGH GARBAGE - NOW THEY ARE BUYING MORE. THOSE PEOPLE AT ALIENWARE ARE GARBAGE - WORSE THAN THAT.
STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. I BOUGHT ONE OF THE THEIR FIRST MODELS - PAID MAYBE 7,000 FOR IT. IT WOKED FINE. THEN THEY GOT TOO BIG FOR THERE FLORIDA BRITCHES. I RECOMMENDED THEIR CRAP TO TWO OTHER PEOPLE AND THEY SCREWED THEM AS WELL. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING - NOTHING.

I am a 3d animator, and needed a new laptop. I thought I'd go with Alienware, and shelled out a little over $6,000 for a professional computer.
It worked for 1/2 an hour, and by "worked" I mean it could move files under 10mb without completely locking up. Over 10mb, well, explorer.exe was going to crash and shortly thereafter the entire system would lock. The technical support agent suspected the RAM, but after removing and reinserting the RAM (power source out, not plugged in... I've built my own computer before) it stopped turning on altogether.
After waiting and waiting today I'm told that they can't repair the motherboard at the moment because it's out of stock. That means I'll have to wait even longer.
I would love to get a full refund but I've had that 15% "restocking fee" BS thrown in my face. Hence I'm getting ahold of my lawyer.
Alienware is terrible. Not one interaction with them has gone well. I should have known; I wanted to order it online but their Paypal entry wouldn't work, neither would using my VISA, and when I tried to buy it over the phone the 1st agent accidentally hung up on me. Pretty sad.
Learn some respect, Alienware.
