Herein was chronicled the tale of woe that was my dealing with Alienware™ in an attempt to get my system serviced, and then to get my parts deposit refunded.

Alienware doesn't understand transfer of ownership
Thank you for not reading the article. The person is not looking for support, they are looking to buy a part from Alienware, and they still won't sell to them.
Alienware has been owned by Dell for YEARS now... they do not give support because you are not the original account holder, you are not the one who paid them so you get nothing, they do not sell parts retail just to customers....
Hi, I was wondering if you would be willing to post a review of your experience with Alienware (or dell as it is now). If so take a look at www.alienware-review.com. Still getting built at the moment, but would appreciate your review. Shenn
I hate to do it but I am forced to join the ranks of you in posting my horrible experience with ALIENATEDWARE. For years I have gawked over their systems and as an I T professional, vowed to purchase one. I did. I did it and went full speed ahead. Little did I know I would wreck.
I purchased the AREA 51 9750 and spent an embarrassing amount of money for the ultimate gaming tool. Well, it was a tool alright A SCREWDRIVER. Just like you all, i got screwed. After weeks of WOW in amazing detail in dual 512 GB video cards, the screen turned into dual screen (on one laptop monitor) TV snow. I though i had a virus. Reformatted, reset cards, etc. Nothing. Nada. Now all my friends at work that used to drool are now dying with laughter. Now instead of showing off the brand, I'm trying to hide it; henceforth, ALIENATEDWARE. What a huge let down. They don't stand behind their product. You'd think they would take their brand seriously. Oh well. Hopefully with Dell behind them, atleast they'll do something about parts and warranty. I'm sure their lawyers are busy enough already with prior Dell issues.
fuck alienware, they provided no support for me and i even bought direct from them...apparently i "voided" the warranty somehow...this company is shit and i hope it folds.

I don't understand. Why would Dell buy out a company that no one is interested in anymore?

Hahah, I just sold my AW comp on E-bay. Kinda feel bad for the poor sucker, but I needed to get something for it. AW is shit.
